Romania’s Balla Géza – founded in 1999 by renowned enologist and professor Dr. Balla Géza – brought back to life the Miniș-Măderat region near the town of Arad – located at the foot of the Zărand Mountains. The winery is known for its velvety, fine and fruity reds, vibrant whites, and sparkling wines with an emphasis on traditional grape varieties of the Carpathian Basin.
Mustoasă de Măderat is a rare grape made even rarer as a traditional method sparkling wine.
